Soft Tissue Injury Assessment and Rehabilitation - Unhappy Triad

As a continuation of the Soft Tissue Injury Assessment and Rehabilitation seminar series, the second session was conducted on April 8, 2025, focusing on Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) Injuries and Knee Bursitis. This interactive seminar was delivered by the 4th Year BPT students and attended by 3rd Year BPT students, along with faculty members present as per their availability.

The presenters offered an in-depth overview of the anatomical considerations, mechanisms of injury, and key clinical features associated with PCL injuries and various types of knee bursitis. The session emphasized differential diagnosis, clinical assessment techniques, and evidence-based treatment protocols, with a strong focus on rehabilitation strategies.

Live demonstrations of special tests such as the Posterior Drawer Test and Godfrey’s Test were performed, followed by exercise demonstrations tailored for the post-injury rehabilitation phases. Attendees actively participated in the Q&A session, clarifying doubts and gaining clarity on complex clinical scenarios.

This session marked another successful step in fostering applied clinical knowledge and peer-led education among physiotherapy students.
